1. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CLARISKIM IN REDUCING THE STABILIZER
To demonstrate the effectiveness of CLARISKIM in absorbing excess stabilizer, we conducted the following study.
Protocol: Installation of a cartridge in the skimmer of the installation, and analysis of the water every day with a photometer to calculate its cyanuric acid (stabilizer) content.
Installation type: 4.50m x 2.30m pool - 15m³
The principle of stabilizer removal by the CLARISKIM cartridge is based on the consumption of cyanuric acid by the corn cob support through a hydrolysis reaction .
Cyanuric acid is therefore eliminated over time.
The elimination kinetics are directly related to the initial concentration of stabilizer, the filtration cycle set on the installation and the number of CLARISKIM cartridges placed in the skimmer.
Conclusion of the evaluation:
In 20 days, the stabilizer content was reduced by 60%.

OUR ADVICE
For users who winterize the pool in active mode, we recommend taking advantage of this period to purify the water of excess stabilizer but also of undesirable compounds present, in order to recover decent water for the following season.
The process is simple to implement, does not add any additional chemicals to the water and occurs naturally.
2. CLARISKIM'S EFFECTIVENESS FOR CAPTURING ORGANIC SUBSTANCES
To demonstrate CLARISKIM's ability to trap undesirable organic substances present in swimming pool water, we conducted the following study.
Protocol: We selected a swimming pool in a large condominium complex in Singapore, therefore with many bathers and in an environment subject to air pollution. We left 2 CLARISKIM cartridges in the pool for 7 weeks.
Installation type: 90 m3 swimming pool equipped with two skimmers.
As we can see in the photo, the cartridge tested for 7 weeks (on the right) no longer has the same appearance as the control cartridge (on the left).
The tested cartridge was then sent to an independent accredited laboratory to perform an analysis after CLARISKIM extraction and identify the observed substances.

Conclusion :
CLARISKIM captured numerous substances brought in by bathers and the environment, which have no place in a swimming pool, and helped to purify the water.
These substances lead to a very high consumption of disinfectant, which oxidizes many compounds present in the water and generates harmful by-products for bathers in the chloramine family.
The presence of these substances in the water also implies regular filter backwashing and therefore leads to overconsumption of water.
